CFIA+

Certified Forensic Investigation Analyst+

The CFIA+ qualification is awarded to candidates who have previously achieved their CFIA certificate and further this by successfully completing two university-assessed written assignments.

Written assignments are set (in conjunction with 7Safe) & marked by University professors, and are based on the content of the CFIA Forensic Artefacts: Hands-On course. Candidates will have two months in which to complete the written element. The pass mark for this assignment is 40%, with marks between 50 and 69% attracting a merit grade and marks 70%+ achieving distinction.

Completing the CFIA+ qualification will earn candidates 15 Masters-level credits which can be put towards either a Masters (MSc) in Computer Security & Forensics or a Postgraduate Certificate (PgC) in Penetration Testing and Information Security.
