CSTP

Certified Security Testing Professional

The CSTP certification is awarded following successful completion of the CSTA certification, the CSTP Ethical Hacking: Hands-On 2 course and the accompanying CSTP examination.

The 1 hour CSTP examination is taken and marked at the conclusion of the CSTP Ethical Hacking: Hands-On 2 course. The pass mark is 50%, with marks between 65 and 79% attracting a merit grade and marks 80%+ achieving distinction.

To successfully complete the CSTP and CSTP+ assessment process demonstrates a thorough theoretical and practical understanding of testing for vulnerabilities in IT systems and networks. The certifications build on the knowledge required to achieve CSTA and CSTA+ status and provides penetration testers with an arena in which to demonstrate a level of competence against the requirements.
