PCI CONSULTANT
This is a great opportunity for a security or IT audit professional to join our PCI consultancy and undertake security audits and compliance assessments for a wide range of clients.
The role is based from our South Cambridge office, however, you will spend a significant amount of time working on our client sites, and therefore flexibility to travel, primarily within the UK, and stay overnight is important.
We offer independent expert advice and pragmatic solutions to help our clients meet their transformation challenges with confidence.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the relevant information security certifications such as CISSP or CISM and aspire to becoming a PCI Council approved qualified information security assessor.
You will work with our clients providing consultancy advice and information system audit related to the PCI DSS.
To be successful you will have good client facing skills, experience of a commercial environment, commitment to delivering the very best professional advice and capable of operating with a multi-skilled team environment.

Responsibilities / Duties
- To assist clients in identifying and rectifying security weaknesses in order to meet PCI DSS requirements.
- To contribute to comprehensive client facing documentation including audit scopes, reports on compliance and security assessments.
- To provide Quality Assurance of client facing documentation produced from within the team against pre-defined quality standards.
- To support Service Line and Sales process through pre-sales support and bid input.
Essential Skills
- A working knowledge of a wide range of operating systems, network devices, protocols and hardware.
- An interest in current technological developments such as cloud computing and end to end encryption.
- An ability to communicate complex technical architectures in concise written reports.
- An appreciation of database, CRM and payment processing applications and their potential security weaknesses.
- An understanding of broader Information Security issues.
Qualities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision whilst maintaining team ethics.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels of an organisation with appropriate technical content.
- Professional presentation and willing to promote a strong corporate ethic through time-keeping and logistical organisation.
- An ability to understand and respond to client’s needs and motives whilst remaining true to the standards mandated through PCI.
