Information Security Consultant

Dynamic QSA Company seeks a qualified professional.

The role will require frequent travel to client sites.

Candidates will need to support our clients with the understanding, deployment, attainment and accreditation of company security mandates, such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001.

Experience within an information security environment and auditing delivery is required along with proven experience of card schemes and banking environments.

The skills required for the role are knowledge of IT infrastructures and PCI DSS, excellent communication skills both verbal and written and the ability to prioritise and manage workloads.

Candidates will need a minimum CISA, CISM, CISSP or be in the process of qualification. QSA is preferred but not essential as training and certification maintenance will be supported.

Your own car is essential along with a full clean driving licence.

Candidates called to interview may be required to complete a short written exercise as part of the assessment process.

Incident Response Forensic Investigator

This role is similar to the trainee role but for a more experienced candidate that must have solid experience in either penetration / application testing and or digital forensic experience and in addition customer focus / on-site customer relationship skills, PCI DSS QSA /QFI.

7Safe Limited has another exciting opportunity for the position of Breach Forensic Investigator; salary will be dependent on previous experience but will be in the range of 26K to 32K as appropriate. The role will be based from the Cambridge office, and will involve some travel throughout the UK once training has been completed.

The role would suit a candidate who has a solid background in either (or all) of the following areas computer security, digital forensics, penetration testing, PCI DSS QSA / QFI and is keen to learn / progress in the field of computer forensic analysis, PCI-DSS, QFI breach investigations and computer incident response and security assessments.

The successful candidate will be working within the Security Investigations & Assessments team and will provide a number of important support roles to the team including: performing investigative tasks, conducting ‘on-site’ consultancy, acquisition of forensic evidence and report writing.

Alongside the above the role will encompass security assessments and penetration testing of websites and related infrastructure using ethical hacking techniques. This will also include source code analysis and code reviews.

In addition to this the candidate would also be involved in both corporate IR and qualified forensic breach investigations and will be trained in the methodologies and practicalities of the subject, culminating in the writing of technical investigation reports for high profile clients.

Training and hands on practical work in the areas of information security, forensics, and PCI-DSS will be provided to help build the skills required to become a successful Breach investigator. Applicants must be flexible, proactive and able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in 7Safe’s internal courses which ultimately works towards an MSc in Computer Security and Forensics.

The following skills are essential

Applicants should have experience of commercial digital forensics, PCI DSS, penetration testing and should be used to dealing with commercial private sector clients. General information security, operating system and application knowledge is a prerequisite of this role.

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

Experience of conducting forensic imaging and acquisition of computer and storage media. Experience with the following programs: EnCase, FTK, DD, WFT

Experience with different operating systems such as Linux / Windows / Mac Operating Systems Knowledge of programming with one or more of the following languages: Perl, Python, Ruby, PHP, ASP, SQL, HTML

Experience of infrastructure penetration testing, web application penetration testing, host based audits, configuration / code / architecture reviews

Experience of conducting PCI DSS Audits and knowledge of the data security standard
