hand to obtain forensically sound images and locate specific data required for each
eDisclosure project. Adhering to best practice guidelines ensures that the integrity of the electronic data is kept intact. The subsequent ability to ‘carve’ the specified data can prove to be much more cost-effective than processing large amounts of data when only a certain amount of it is actually relevant.

Our eDisclosure service can interrogate virtually any data set (emails, hard disks, disk images, etc.) in any language, identifying multiple languages in the same document and provides a filter to identify all Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic, Japanese and non-Latin characters. The solution allows the ability to export non-searchable PDFs and TIFFs, have them OCR'ed, and re-imported as a child item to the original. The same methodology is used with password-protected documents, in that they can be exported, have the protection removed where permission is granted, and re-import as a child item to the original. We can also export to a variety of formats including Native, PST, NSF, Ringtail, Summation, Concordance as load files for in-house review or hosted on the 7Safe Legal Gateway Hosted Review system.
