CSTP Ethical Hacking: Hands-On 2
This 2-day web application ethical hacking course covers the fundamentals of the industry-recognised OWASP Top Ten – to quote OWASP: “the ten most critical web application security risks”. You will have access to a functional ASP.NET and PHP application through which theory is reinforced by way of practical exercises. The course demonstrates hacking techniques - there’s no better way to understand attacks than by doing them yourself - but this is always done with defence in mind and countermeasures are taught throughout.

Hands-On CFIP introduces core IT forensic principles and methodology, teaching static analysis techniques and developing investigatory skills. This course equips delegates with a working knowledge of forensically sound approaches to evidence gathering, preservation and analysis. Hands-on exercises will apply key methods employing software tools used by the law enforcement community and private sector.

CMI guides delegates through the process of investigating malicious software. It teaches methodologies, shows how to analyse and interpret malicious software and identify relevant artefacts. CSIS Computer Security Incident Investigation: Hands-On 7Safes most advanced forensics training course introduces delegates to a range of scenarios where traditional computer forensics approaches will fail. Building on skills introduced in CSTA/CSTP as well as CFIP and CMI, exercises based on a server breach scenario confront delegates with a wealth of advanced demands to their investigative skills: Remote imaging of physically inaccessible, live server systems, some using full-disk encryption; capturing and analysing volatile data; extracting relevant data from firewalls and analysing server logs.

CWSA Wireless Security: Hands-On
CWSA takes delegates through the evolution of security standards and practices in wireless networks. The course defines the essential elements of a wireless network and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of wireless security measures such as WEP, WPA and beyond. At each step, the technical principles and the consequences for security are covered so that overall the course progresses towards an increasingly secure implementation of a wireless network. Theory is complemented by hands-on exercises to enhance learning and develop practical skills.
