Solicitors to benefit from Digital Evidence Made Easy course

7Safe has released a new Law Society approved course specifically designed for solicitors. The Digital Evidence Made Easy course is 3 hours in duration and covers important topics such as:

  • Principles of computer based evidence
  • The levels of computer data
  • Commonly used forensic terms explained
  • What happens when a file is deleted?
  • What is unallocated space?
  • How is data stored on a hard drive?
  • File times and dates explained
  • Commonly encountered defences
  • Relevant stated cases

7Safe's Andrew Smith explained, "We frequently perform case work for solicitors and it became apparent that a course of this nature would be of tremendous benefit. No previous experience of digital evidence is required as we approach the subject matter from a non-specialist's perspective".

To fit in with busy schedules, the Digital Evidence Made Easy training course can be delivered within the solicitors firm as a morning, afternoon or evening session.
