On the 19th June, PA Consulting and 7Safe will bring together law firms, financial institutions, insurance firms and senior executives from large organisations at our Relativity-hosted networking event in London to discuss migrating data to the cloud and technical controls to protect data. This event will take place at De Vere Holborn Bars, 138-142 Holborn, London EC1N 2NQ from 6.30 pm to around 9.00 pm. Drinks and canapés will be served.
James Dale, a senior Security Tester at 7Safe, will highlight the value of penetration testing cloud services and applications as part of PA & 7Safe's holistic approach to cyber security that includes People, Process and Technology. James will show how this type of advanced technical testing fits into the holistic model developed by PA & 7Safe described in our diagram called the 'Cyber Security Square'. This promises to be a thought-provoking way of reviewing your cyber security, data protection and privacy concerns to help you control information assets and more accurately assess business risk.
John Skipper, a Cyber Security Expert with PA Consulting, will look at the People and Process aspects of ‘Testing Cloud Security for Law Firms’, drawing on the holistic approach of the Cyber Security Square in order to review where social engineering / phishing testing, process audits and compliance frameworks, fit with technical security measures such as penetration testing, red teaming and blue teaming, and cyber threat hunting.
Cloud: a key component of your organisation?
Relativity’s Senior Enterprise Account Managers David Campbell and Kieran McPate will provide an overview of their easy-to-manage cloud solution, RelativityOne, and the benefits of migrating data to a secure cloud platform. They will explain the Hybrid Model, which combines cloud, on-premise and mobile Relativity deployments, bringing together matters, workflows, and data in a single portal.Relativity will then share success stories from organisations who have transitioned from on-premise to RelativityOne. They will also provide details of the "RelativityOne roadmap”.
For many organisations, full cloud migration is a daunting possibility. However, cloud offers significant commercial and technological advantages. Whilst it is true that many providers will continue to support on-premises delivery, technology companies will continue to grow with them. Some will consider the hybrid solution, which combines both cloud and on-premises data centres, into a responsive, integrated ecosystem of data, taking away the fear or risk of doing things just one way or the other. Others, however, are already making the leap to the cloud, where speed and security will become the cornerstones of their business strategy. This move can be supported by proactive approaches to cyber resilience from cloud service providers like Microsoft, AWS and Google, combined with expert third party testing of People, Process and Technology security. Technical and consultancy services provide reassurance that your clients' data is fully-protected and your systems secure.’
