7Safe Presented at c0c0n International Conference Kerala

On 27 September 2013, 7Safe Penetration Tester Anant Shrivastava presented at the c0c0n International Conference in Kerala, India on how Python scripting language can be used by professional Penetration Testers to maximise results when conducting assessments.

The c0c0n International Conference, which is hosted in collaboration with Kerala State Police, provides a forum to discuss, showcase and spread awareness on the latest trends in information, cyber and hi-tech crime. It brings together various corporate and government organisations, including investigation agencies, research organisations and many other industry leaders in the cyber security space.

The presentation titled 'Python Scripting for Penetration Testers' provided some useful insights into how Python scripting language can be used for automating exploits, writing custom tools and extending existing tool capabilities. 7Safe's Anant Shrivastava explained how Python allows industry professionals to overcome common challenges faced where other commercial and open source tools fail, and revealed some of the hidden features of Python language that cold simplify many penetration testing tasks.
